There are two excellent school districts in Cibolo Canyons that children attend. On the West Side of the community, children attend North East ISD. On the East Side, children attend Judson ISD. The North East ISD is the second largest school district in the San Antonio area and has nine exemplary schools. In total, there are 46 elementary schools, 14 middle schools, and 7 high schools. NEISD offers Gifted and Talented Programs for students in grades K-12, as well as Career and Technology Education programs. Career and Technology Education begins in middle school and teaches students about the growing world of technology. In addition, a full range of bilingual and special programs are offered to students.
As for Judson ISD, there are six recognized schools. In total, there are 18 elementary schools, 6 middle schools, 5 high schools and 1 alternative school. All of the schools offer Bilingual and ESL programs as well as special education programs. Many of the schools offer after-school programs, and in the summer, many offer summer camps. In addition, athletics are a part of life at Judson ISD and are often interwoven in the community with activities such as the Adventure Club. Adult and Community Education is also offered.
